Publish and Perish

The problem with writing words on paper or in some digital medium is that you run the risk of someone taking those words out of context.
Your words might be misunderstood or misinterpreted.
When you write or speak, you take a chance that someone might read or hear your words, and use them for something for which you never intended.
You may speak a word, and someone might even use that same word against you.
They might ridicule and abuse your word, push it back into your face.
They might treat your word with disdain or disgust,
even if it was intended to be a kind and compassionate word.
Someone might take your word of grace,
and mutilate and disfigure it.
Someone might answer your good word with evil,
return your peaceful word with war,
take your word that was intended to give life and put it to death.
Some might even take a Word of ultimate Love
and crucify Him.
